How can I join mass media?

There are specific eligibility criteria that a student should pass to enroll in mass communication. For the UG course, candidates should have a minimum of 50-60% from any recognized board in class 12. Some colleges and universities also expect the candidates to have attained a minimum of 17 years of age during admissions. Apart from this, some colleges and universities provide students access based on entrance exams such as Jamia Milia Islamia Entrance Exam, XIC OET, IIMC Entrance Exam, FTII JET, JNUEE, and CUET. To enroll in a course in mass communication, a candidate should also have creativity, good communication skills, confidence, research skills, critical thinking, observation skills, etc.

What is the qualification for Viscom?

To enroll in the Viscom course, the minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidates should have qualified 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% marks. If a candidate wants to pursue visual communication abroad, they might need SAT/ ACT scores, based on which some universities give admission. The candidates should also submit an English language scorecard such as IELTS/TOEFL/PTE. Apart from this, the candidates will also need a letter of recommendation, statement of purpose, mark sheets, etc. Having all the eligibility criteria mentioned above, a candidate can enroll in a bachelor’s course for three years.
