His resources ranged from audio lessons, watching videos in French and doing exercises to improve grammar, encouraging to converse in French etc. The audio lessons especially were very helpful in learning new words (repeated at gradual intervals to help in retention) as well as gaining insight into how to have a conversation in French. He also encouraged me to learn properly how to do verb conjugation when I struggled with it initially.
